subject 1_yesha townsend, writer
Welcome to the first instalment of the Synapsis Project - my attempt to connect the bright spots in my community via film photography and conversation. For this shoot I used Kodak Portra 160 (+1 stop) in my Canon A1 with a 50mm f1.8 lens and Kodak Color 200 in my Nikon FM with a 50mm f1.4 lens. I used only available light, and that wrinkly backdrop you see is a hand painted piece of canvas that I probably should have set a little further behind my subject. For a better look at these photos, you can check them out here.
Thank you so much to Yesha Townsend for agreeing to be my very first subject. Yesha is a writer, reader, thinker and composer - who, together with her little friend po=t, likes to daydream. Yesha is currently in Minnesota (USA) pursuing her MFA.
